Seastar

Inspired by the form and features of a starfish embryo in development, the knitwear piece "seastar" aims to embody the ever growing yet structurally protective shell that protects the embryonic starfish. The "seastar" rests upon a pristine and similarily structured knitted mattress, bringing forward themes of vulnerability, comfort, and motherhood. Both are knit with a wool and mohair blend.
